Dec 9, 2013Trek Scratch Air 8 - 17.5" (Virtual Medium)
$1700 GBPLovely bike, climbs well, decends like a mini DH and jumps like a light freeride bike - great fun to chuck about. The bike is in very good condition; gears, suspension, brakes and linkages running perfectly. Upgraded with Reverb dropper post and a more aggressive cockpit; Sunline V-one 745 bar and V-one 40 mm stem.
Good Pinkbike review:
http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Trek-Scratch-Air-8-Reviewed-2011.html
There is a very small scratch in the TREK decal on the downtube from a bike rack and a few scuffs in the fork decals. There are also a couple of small dings in the rear rim. The bike has had very light use on some local trails as I mainly ride my downhill bike, as it turns out - riding uphill is not for me!
£3000 new in Stock form. - Still have the manuals and spare hardware that came with the bike at the end of 2011.
Selling to fund a Road Legal Enduro bike, so will consider a trade with cash either way. Might consider a Motocross bike. W.H.Y?
