Where's the Shock? Bold Cycles' Unplugged Prototype - Sea Otter 2018
Pretty sleek. I'm just wondering how much of a pain it is to remove the shock should you need to get it serviced or something. I do like the idea of it though. Very cool, and clean looking.

What the Heck is a Down-Country Bike? - Opinion
I don't know if Down-Country is the term, but I am riding a Cannondale habit SE (Technically it's a carbon 1 but I put a 130mm fork up front). 130 up front and 120 in the back. I love it. It's not really a "trail" bike, but it is more capable than what I think of as a traditional XC bike. I still race XC on it. I don't have thousands of dollars to drop on 2 or three different bikes so I am all for this shorter travel, more capable Swiss army style bike. That new Yeti and the new Santa-Cruz Tall-Boy have really caught my eye.

Trek Full Stache - First Ride
It looks HUGE. Not my cup of tea for sure, but... interesting... I guess.

Race Photo Epic - Stellenbosch World Cup XCO
Seriously. Second place by one second. Doesn't matter. How can one guy be that dominant for so long. This is the first race he has "Lost" in a year.... I use the term lost very loosely. Such an absolute monster.

Flow Trail Overload? Or Never Enough Flow? - Pinkbike Poll
I think it really depends on the terrain where you live. I'm on Oklahoma and we have some techy stuff, but there is a lot of flow/flat. It's about 70/30. We just don't have a ton of technical terrain here. Great for xc and trail bikes, but you won't be having much fun on your AM/Enduro/DH bike here. When I lived in PA it was a completely different story. Lots of rocks and steeper for sure. Less flow as well, and in all honesty I'm not 100% sure if it's just the trails being more flowy. I think the bikes being insanely capable lends itself to the trails being more tame.

First Ride: Intense Sniper Elite XC
Man more companies need to do this. I have a cannondale habit right now and it was the closest thing to this I could find. Maybe we will see more short travel slack XC bikes.

YT Announces Full 2018 Rider Roster
I want to see how YT would do a cross country bike and get Nino Schurter on board.

North American Handmade Bicycle Show 2018
NAHBS is always a riot. I love it. Mostly batshit insane, but also insanely cool all at the same time. If I lived in an area where there was a ton of snow that Fat Bike ski would be in my arsenal for sure and that Juliet roadie looks sick. I bet that thing has hardly any drag.
