e*13 Prototype Chain Rings - First Look
H-Monster - Been running it a couple of weeks. During that couple of weeks I've been picking the rockiest baby-headed lines possible and bashing through them full bore to try and throw the chain. I had an e13 hive single ring before this and the chain (w/o a guide) would come off on moderate bumps and drops. Good question because time will tell, but so far the chain w/ the new crankset hasn't even hinted at coming off. Jack - I'll post up pics to my profile later today.

e*13 Prototype Chain Rings - First Look
I run an XX1 crankset with an XT Shadow Plus derailleur, XT cassette and KMC 10 speed chain - no guide. The trails here in Central Texas are full of rock gardens and limestone ledges. I have yet to drop a chain - and I've tried. The magic is in the chainring teeth and the clutch derailleur. $240 shipped for a new carbon crankest is pretty reasonable.

Norco Range 2 - Large (19")

$2050 USD
Up for sale is a 2011 Norco Range 2 (160mm travel front and rear). I bought this bike new in June 2012 from Endover's Bike Shop here in Austin, TX. It is in *EXCELLENT* condition and I just went through this bike with a fine-toothed comb - cleaning all the pivots, components, etc. There are very few scratches on one side of the downtube and chain and seat stays - all would be considered normal wear and tear. No dents or other defects. It has a 66.5 degree head tube angle and a 73 degree seat tube. I'm 6' and the bike fits me very well. I have upgraded the Rockshox Lyrik fork with the RC2 DH damper (a $200+ upgrade that improves the fork tremendously). I have also added green Azonic 420 pedals, an ISCG-mounted Blackspire Stinger chain guide, swapped the tires for a Specialized Butcher up front and a Purgatory in the rear, replaced the big ring with a raceface bashguard and the saddle with a Bontrager Evoke II. It's set up as 2x10. The full-bike warranty expires in June 2013 and the frame warranty expires June 2017 both of which I would offer assistance in fulfilling, if necessary. This bike is a blast to ride, very stiff with 20mm axle (f) and 142x12 in the back along with the 35mm Lyrik. It will tackle any terrain you can throw at it inspiring confidence all the way. I'm torn about selling this because it is super plush, comfortable and climbs very well and is just so much fun to ride. A couple of reviews of this specific model here: http://www.nsmb.com/4429-review-2011-norco-range-2/ http://www.bikemag.com/gear/bike-test-norco-range-2/ I have the Norco manual, tech manuals for the fork and shock, original fork damper, and receipt confirming date of original purchase. I'll throw in a 2.35 Nevegal because the Purgatory in the rear has taken some sidewall abuse and, if it sweetens the deal, I'll include a Rockshox reverb post for an additional $150. Buyer to pay shipping costs. I will ship to Canada, but buyer must pay all costs/taxes, etc... I can send more pics on request. Stock specs are below.
