I like bikes. Have done every type of riding over the years. Raced xc the other year, enjoyed it, but training for it is hard work. I want to get into racing enduro and dh. Hopefully the training will be a bit more fun!

YT Tues CF Pro Large

$2400 GBP
YT Tues CF Pro 2016 Large Original Spec apart from: Hope V4 Brakes (will come with brand new hope sintered front and rear pads) E13 LG1+ Cranks DMR Vault Pedals - Four Rides Old Magic Mary Tyres - Super Gravity Addix - Soft compound on rear, ultra-soft on front - Four Rides Old DT-Swiss FR570 rear rim - will supply the original E13 LG1R carbon rim as well - I changed it because I kept snapping spokes - rim is fine. Please note that the DT-Swiss weighs the same as the carbon rim! Renthal Carbon Fatbar - 780mm - 7 rides old ODi Rogue Grips - 7 rides old Cane Creek Lower headset bearing and race New Bearings Fitted in the Front Hub five rides ago Shock serviced last year - less than fifteen hours actual riding since then Forks services seven rides ago - complete service - damper, new bushes, seals, fluid and right stanchion replaced all at a cost of £300 Replaced gear cable inner and outer five rides ago I also have a spare gear hanger if I can find it. It's due a new chain so I have a brand new one ready to go on - if i don't have time to fit it, I will include it in the sale. The upper chain guide has broke - its quite a flimsy design and I managed to loosen it when I was working on it, eventually it fell off on the trails. It can’t be replaced for £20 from silverfish. If I had time I’d do it before the sale, instead I knocked the price I wanted down. The bike has been used for the past couple of years. I don't race or send huge jumps/gaps, I've only had two crashes neither were high speed I'm just terrible in dry loose conditions and slid out(!), so although it shows wear and tear, there is no serious damage to the frame. Unfortunately I didn't tape the frame up so the paint work looks a bit tired. There are some chips to the chain and seat stays, will get pics of this up when I get chance. Please note the picture is when I had it brand new - I'll get current pictures up soon when I go back to the midlands. Large size is perfect for me at 5'11. Reason for sale is that I just don't get the chance to ride it as much as I'd like since I moved to London for work and seem to get less and less chance to ride it. This year it's been out a handful of times. Open to sensible offers - no expense has been spared on this bike and i have spent in the region of £600 in the past couple of months. Location is Cannock Chase, Staffordshire or Bow, London.

Bontrager Rapid Pack - Review
There's also been anecdotal accounts of go pro's causing additional complications with skull and chest injuries when riders have landed on them. It caused pressure points that negated the protection of the helmet by focusing the blow through the gopro mount.

The biggest problem I had with these was snapping spokes - anecdotally mechanics have said this is due to carbon absorbing less of the energy, and passing it through to the spokes (I haven't got a clue if this is correct/true - they just say it seems to happen "a lot"). I've since moved back to an aluminium rim on the rear, which even being the DT Swiss FR570 is still a similar weight. But haven't ridden enough to see if it has made a difference, and it's not just me being too heavy or clumsy with my line choice.

I burped air only the once in a year with this rim on the rear, being used with both Maxxis HR2 and Magic Mary Supergravity. And that was some pretty aggressive riding in the alps, not saying Im the quickest or best, but i'm the wrong side of 15 stone, so happy with that. I've had friends have constant issues with air burping on their rim/tyre combo's.
