I started this build a couple of years ago as I really wanted a fast hardtail. However, life sadly got in the way, and I ride so rarely now that when I do, I ride my full suspension. Pinarello Marvel T2 Ultegra 2014 – 54cm RRP: £3300 + Extras! For sale is a brand new, un-ridden Pinarello Marvel that I brought just over 12 months ago as I wanted a racing bike to compliment my long distance sportive bike. However, soon after I unfortunately had a very heavy motorsport accident that has resulted in a prolonged recovery period. I have very recently begun riding again, however, due to the damage done to my spine I can only ride for a short period of time and only on a more relaxed, ‘softer’ ride than this race ready machine – it is therefore time to part ways with a bike that I would have loved to of ridden atleast once! The bike is absolutely stunning and its heartbreaking to sell it but I cant forsee a time when I’ll be able to ride it so it needs to go to a worthy home! The bike is completely brand new and has never been riden with the exception of the wheels which I swapped over from another of my bikes in order to match the drivetrain - the wheels that come with the bike are Shimano Ultegra 6800 and have been ridden around 5 times on another bike - these are a much better wheelset than the own branded Most Lynx wheelset that came on the bike when new. I have also upgraded the saddle to a Fizik Arione R3 Sadde (RRP £130) and the tyres to Continental Grand Prix 4000s (RRP £30 per tyre) – both of which have never been used. For sale is potentially one of the greatest aggressive hardtail frames of all time, the Evil Sovereign! As always there may be a few other light surface scuffs but the frame was plastered in Bike Tape before riding. This bike has never been crashed, I've been close but I have never crashed it. I am a Cytech Level 3 Qualified Mechanic and have worked as a Product Manager and designer within the cycle industry and have looked after it as if it were my child, the used parts have hardly been ridden at all in anger really, mainly only light use around my local area, I am only 11st as well so I don’t give bikes much punishment! Also, the bike has been stripped down and cleaned after every ride and has never been left dirty for a prolonged period of time. Inded, I dont believe the bike was ever ridden in wet conditions! I rebuilt the bike back in March this year but it hasn't been ridden since. As previously mentioned, the bikes being sold due to lack of use,for a bike which is so highly specced its definitely time to sell it to someone who will have the time to use this bike to its full potential regularly. All components have also been degreased and re-lubricated prior to it being rebuilt ready for sale, the bike hasn’t moved out of the spare bedroom since then.
