I also have a brand new Shimano XT rear derailleur in medium cage with a Shimano SLX 10-45t cassette. I hate long cage derailleur as I always end up smashing them off so bought the medium set up but just didnt get round to fitting it. This can be negotiated in to the price separately if you want it.
