BIKINGFORAUTISM.ORG

After discovering our son was autistic, my wife and I wanted to do something to help raise awareness but we weren’t quite sure what we should do. Since one of my main passions in life has always been cycling and then seeing how passionate our son is about bicycling as well, we decided to start BIKINGFORAUSTISM.ORG and CYCLINGFORAUTISM.ORG. Growing up in Southern California where I spent the greater part of my youth and early adulthood as part of the BMX/Freestyle scene and then spending the last 20+years dividing my time between both Mountain Biking and Road Cycling I know first hand the joys and friendships cycling and the cycling community can bring. Luckily for us our son is considered a high functioning Autistic child, but many others face challenges we will never know and we want to do what we can to help those who face these challenges, so this site is dedicated to all of you.http://www.bikingforautism.org
