This is part 3 of my bike blog, this blog is a little something I'm doing as i build my new bike. I will be blogging and posting photos of any and every thing that comes in for my new 951 FRO.Today some socal happiness showed up and you know what that means...... Yes that means i have a frame. I went through the day with a huge smile on my face, not huge but massive. After leaving work a little early to get down to the the local bike shop (
http://www.tambikes.com/) to get a seat post i was greeted by a group of drooling friends. I grabbed the Thomson masterpeace that was in the shop case and pulled the trigger and boom just like that i was that much poorer. That's when it happen Dylan stole my green love and put stickers on her, not just stickers he put a specialized sticker on it.
I had a hart attack when i saw this.
but after all the fun and games were done there was one sticker that i is really worth keeping. PEDDLE DAMN IT
This hopefully will keep me sprinting on my race runs, too many times i haven't given it my all so, PEDDLE DAMN IT.
When you take a closer look at the amazing welds on these bikes you really start to appreciate what the guys down in Temecula do. There something about knowing that your frame was made in the US that makes you feel good about the bike but knowing it was made in your home state of California makes it all the more sweeter. The guys at intense cycles are champs, I would like to make a shout out to my man Jake for staying on top of my shit and making sure i have a beautiful new 951 to race on this year.
Here are some shots i took just for you guys
