Orro Venturi STC Signature Frame (Large): Needs repair

$245 GBP
Hey folks, I bought this new from Balfe's Bikes in March 2022. After 13 days of ownership I was hit, at very low speed, from behind by a car who didn't see that I had stopped to let a pedestrian cross at a crossing. After about a year of wrangling with the insurers I now have a replacement frame and am back on my bike. I have retained the original, damaged, frame. I was going to have the frame repaired myself and then sell it in the repaired state, however I have discovered that many carbon repair shops will not transfer their repair warranty between owners. I think it's important that any repairs are warrantied so I have taken the decision to sell it in it's damaged condition, so that the buyer can have it repaired themselves and can benefit from the repair warranty. I contacted carbonbikerepair.co.uk to get an indicative repair quote. They confirmed that they see this type of damage frequently and that they were confident it was easily repairable. They also confirmed that they would provide a warranty on repair but that the warranty would not be transferable to a new owner should the frame then be sold on. Their quote came back as follows: Rear left chain stay (Carbon Work): £220 - £240 + VAT Rear left chain stay (Restorative Paintwork): £200 - £220 + VAT Chain suck around the bottom bracket (Carbon Work): £250 - £280 + VAT Chain suck around the bottom bracket (Restorative Paintwork): £180 - £200 + VAT Totalled up that's a range of £850 - £940 + VAT The frame itself retails at £2299.99, however given that the buyer will have to pay a significant sum to have it repaired I think it's quite difficult to value this sale. As such I am going to run this as an auction style listing, with a starting bid of £300. The frame comes with the original bottom bracket installed. I rode the bike 3 or 4 times prior to the incident. In terms of postage, I'm very happy for the buyer to collect from me, I'm also happy to agree and arrange postage, at the buyers expense, if that suits better. Very happy to answer any questions on this one. Also very happy for folks to view the frame prior to bidding (I'm in London, SE27). Please drop me a message if you'd like any further information or would like to arrange to view the frame. Cheers!

Lapierre Spicy 516 (Small)

$100 GBP
Hey folks, Here we have my Lapierre Spicy 516 frame, which I believe is a 2008 model. I'm selling it with the headset, shock and a couple of replacement bolts (as pictured). Frame: 2008 516 Spicy, Small (41cm), 160mm rear travel (I think!) Headset: Cane Creek 110 Zero Headset (Red). Shock: Fox FP23 2 x Upper Link FT Fixation Screws I bought the frame 2nd hand on eBay back in 2010, rode it for a while and then decided it was too small for me. I then snapped a bolt which took me so long to source a replacement for that I stripped the frame and started riding one of my other bikes. The frame has been hung up in the garage ever since waiting for me to rebuild or sell it. I now have a replacement (2 in fact!) for the snapped bolt, however I've been unable to remove the end of the old bolt from the link fixation screw, so this will need to be done, or alternatively you could buy a new fixation screw for £12.99 from eBay which may be easier, the link for these can be found below: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183770049291?var=691373347222&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338365712&toolid=20006&customid=EB89597170& In terms of condition, the frame itself has the usual marks and scratches you'd expect from a frame of this age. I've tried to capture these in the photos as best as possible. The headset bearings feel ok at a glance, however I would not be surprised if some of the frame bearings need attention. The shock worked fine last time I rode the bike, but this was probably 5 or so years ago so it might benefit from some attention/ a service. Given my lack of certainty about the condition of everything and the issue with the link fixation screw I've no idea how to price this, I'm expecting the buyer will have to do a bit of work to get this in to a rideable state so happy to consider any offers which reflect this. Collection from SE27 would be preferable, viewings also welcome here. I'm happy to box and post at the buyers expense if preferred though. Very happy to answer any questions etc, Cheers, Edd
