@tequilatonighttomorrowweride: We did lots of testing at the start of the year and this style of headline performs better (not that surprising given its the standard across nearly all sports reporting). That said we saw the feedback from Pinkbike users who don’t won’t to see race winners on the homepage so we came up with this solution. This system allows us to publish articles with headlines that will perform better while ensuring results aren’t spoiled on the homepage for logged-in users. As always we are keeping an eye on feedback and will make any necessary changes.

All logged-in Pinkbike users would have seen this headline, "Final Results: 2026 Red Bull Stuttgart Cerro Abajo", before they clicked on the article. Once a user has clicked on the article and therefore wants to see the results, the headline changes to one containing the race winners.

There wasn't live timing for the women's race and the broadcast only showed the top three runs, so I couldn't calculate sector times. It looks like the full women's race replay has now been released, so I will update the article with more in-depth results. Tomas Slavik was there, but he did not qualify for finals.
