After the U23 racers got between the tape yesterday it's the turn of the Elites to start the final round of 2023 with 20 minutes of flat-out racing. Check out the results below.
@opignonlibre: it was mainly a joke, especially in xc, I think most XC bikes are pretty equivalent, it is just wild to see, all of their guys in the top 6, and all their women in the top 10 with wins on both ends.
@bikebasher: yep a few of them have been racing Evos with a lockout fitted. The only reason I didn't buy an Evo was because none of the retail versions had that as standard, it looks like a great setup.
Yeah they focused too much on the overall.
In 2023 you would think they would be able to do a split screen or put the riders racing in overall in a thumbnail in the corner of the screen.
@gsbxcmtb9: well, guess he has big shoes to fill. But he did make at least two rather strange mistakes (corrected by Bart) - for instance that Rebecca Henderson "has had a great season". Was something simliair with another rider, can't remember right now.
@cartersheley1: But if he wins in every individual event he takes part in, it takes away the shine of those who win overall by participating in all the stages.
Also, podium ceremonies vs interviews/talk was a bit of a mess.
I miss Rob, and honestly I’d prefer Barts commenting alone rather than the current team. Mistakes and repeats aplenty.
Josh Carlson is annoying though; he's much too hyperbolic.
