I'm selling my old Trek Fuel now for a few reasons: 1) Too tall for it now (I'm about 6ft 1 and it feels pretty small as it's a medium frame); 2) Going to university in the summer so won't have the accessibility or time to ride it anymore; 3) Simply not into riding bikes as my former teenage self did! I've had this bike for roughly 4 years now (17 turning 18 years old now) and it's always been kept in a dry garage. A few years ago I had the outrageous idea to give it a custom paint job, which consisted of taking off a lot of the components, applying a lot of masking tape and spraying multiple layers of primer, paint, and lacquer to it. I also added helitape to parts of the frame to help protect it. I also kept the original frame/warranty number on the bottom tube, by the bottom bracket. Changed a couple of other things such as Nukeproof pedals and slightly wider bars. The bike hasn't been ridden for about two years, however from my last experience riding it, it was in need of a full service, probably including forks which will probably be about £100. From giving it a quick ride, the rear shock is fine along with the brakes and gears. Although the rear brake lever does have quite a bit of travel, but as I stated before the bike could do with a full service.
