Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails

There is a lot of online rage directed at trails that have worn in, eroded, and become a more difficult janky POS. Everyone forgets they used to be smooth 3-4 years ago. It's not dumbing down to bring them back to an easier state to more accurately reflect the original grade. I can think of many single blacks in the local network that should be updated to double black - they will never return to an easier stage. Many blues that started out smooth are now rough and terrible, or have water erosion ruts. Not enough to deserve an upgrade, but certainly not what they used to be. Our dirt sucks and does not last long.
