Kona Kula (medium) The best example you will find.

$350 GBP
This is the best example you will find of this classic trail bike. I am the third owner from new. I sourced this bike for a friend who was the second owner. The first owner hardly rode it and it still had the moulding bobbles on the tires. My friend rode it once. It has had a pampered life, being a second bike for my wife when we rode with our boys. It is in full, original condition. To put that into context, it’s still running the original tires. The only modifications from the original spec is updating the cockpit, with 760mm Raceface Respond bars and 50mm stem. It rides like new. Shifting is crisp, brakes are sharp, wheels are true. No creaks or groans. Cosmetically, it’s stunning. The cherry red and pearlescent white looks fresh. It is a used bike so there are tiny imperfections but hardly anything the camera could pick up. This is a very reluctant sale but it’s just not getting used and is slightly too small for me at 5’ 11” so would estimate it would suit someone between 5’ 6” - 5’ 10”. I am open to offers but nothing silly. This is a stunning example of a very capable classic trail bike. Full spec and review is here: https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/mountain-bikes/kona-kula-review/?image=1&type=gallery&gallery=1&embedded_slideshow=1 Any questions or more pics, please ask and viewing is highly recommended. It is collection only and available to view in Epsom.

Ibis Mojo HD - High End Spec

$1250 GBP
Ibis Mojo HD Spec: Size Large Raw Carbon Frame Fox Talas 36 Fit RC2 110/130/160mm with on the fly adjustment Fox Float RP3 Kashima 160mm Shimano XT Rear Mech (11 Speed) Shimano XTR Shifter SunRace 11-46 Cassette Shimano XT M8000 brakes and IceTech rotors SRAM NX Crankset and DUB BB Easton Haven Wheelset (Set up tubeless) Front: Schwalbe Fat Albert Rear: Schwalbe Nobby Nic Renthal Fatbar 760mm Bontrager XXX Carbon Stem 50mm Odi Ruffian Grips DVO Garnet 150mm internal routing This was my dream bike and have been updating and revising with new parts over the time I’ve owned it. The only original parts are frame, shock and wheels. Everything else is either new or nearly new. The forks look almost new. No marks on the stnarilns at all and almost none in the lower legs. The drivetrain was fully changed about 50miles ago. The crankset is brand new having been ridden twice. Braking is amazing and shifting is accurate and sharp. I put on a new free hub this morning, as a I noticed the previous one was quite worn when putting the new cassette in a few weeks ago. The dropper was fitted the same time as the drivetrain so has also seen little use. I had all the frame bearing replaced in 2016 and since having kids that year, the bike has seen nothing other than word land paths and cycling in the park. Not quite it’s intended use, hence the sale. I’ve got a few spares with it (spokes, hangers, bearings) and the original owners manual. The only issue I can find on it is one of the bash guard bolts is loose in the frame where the river is spinning. This is the top one of three closest to the head tube. It’s not an issue unless you wanted to remove the bash guard. I haven’t serviced the rear shock and it’s got the classic RP23 “squish” as it compresses. It holds pressure fine and no leaks at all but may benefit from a service. I will try and find a seal service kit from the spares box and include it. I am gutted to be selling as it has been my pride and joy but it also needs to be used as intended by someone who will appreciate it. I am looking to move to a high-spec hardtail along the lines of Identiti AKA, Dartmoor Primal, Orange Crueh Pro so would be open to exploring trades. Thanks for reading this much! P.S. Pedals and bell not included in the sale.

Marzocchi 55 RC3 Ti 170mm

$140 GBP
Marzocchi 55 RC3 Ti (170mm) - 26" Wheel Size These have been removed from an Ibis Mojo HD frame I bought from here and having ridden them a few times, they're too much for the riding I do and will be getting something stiffer with shorter travel. I weigh 105kg and they are great going down but up has too much bob on the climbs with my weight! I don't know the history of the forks but they seem to be working fine to me. All adjusters click, no leaks. The lower legs have some small marks from cable rub and the stanchions are deep scratch and chip free. The steerer is 200mm, tapered and has the crown race and star nut fitted. FSA top cap will be included. Loads of positive reviews on these forks and full details can be found easily online. May consider a trade for a 31.6 dropper post, DOSS, Lev, etc. No Reverbs. Prefer collection so you can check them out but can post.

Kona Kula

$250 GBP
For Sale: Kona Kula Frame Size: 15-16" (my other half is 5' 8" and she is about as tall as you would want to go on the frame) Shifters: Shimano Deore Rear Mech: Shimano XT Front Mech: Shimano Deore Brakes: Hayes Stroker Tires: Schwalbe Nobby Nic Grips: Lizard Skin Steve Peat Pedals: DMR V8 Saddle: The one in the pic will be replaced for black and red The rest is pretty much stock Kona. Selling the bike as my other half is starting to get on some bigger stuff and has moved up to a full suss. This little bike has served her well. It has the usual scratches and scrapes from a bike of this age but is structurally sound with no cracks or dents to the frame. Some marks to lower legs of forks but stanchions are all clean and sound. I'm not sure if it's me being spoilt with SRAM X0 but she may benefit from new cables. Shifts fine but feels like there's more play on the shifters. It's been a while since I used Shimano and it may just be a difference in feel. The bike is based in Epsom, Surrey and viewing is more than welcome. Any questions, drop me a message. Thanks
