A solid MTB Trail wheelset available here that has been lightly ridden for the last 2 years. Cannondale to Shut Down Factory Race Program After 2026 Season
@xciscool: Yes that is an issue which is going to have some negative impacts down the line. But these crazy inflated rider salaries re-enforce the desired product road racing is providing for sponsors.

Cannondale to Shut Down Factory Race Program After 2026 Season
@wipperman95: The Tour is everything for the road side and it is 1000X more exposure for brands than the whole XCO calendar combined,

Cannondale to Shut Down Factory Race Program After 2026 Season
You have nailed a key point here and its reinforced by the fact that Cannondale is still investing in their WorldTour road teams. People on this site are biased and have downvoted your comment but it is true that road racing has way more of an exciting and engaging story to tell through its racer personalities/stories and the racing itself. XCO is doing nothing to actually build up the stories or create a connection with its racers which is partly why you don't find it entertaining. Instead they are making a bunch of fancy graphics and have subpar announcers during broadcast that have the voice volume up to 11 from start to finish(hella annoying) to create "excitement".

Pinkbike Poll: What Made You Stop Caring About Enduro?
Here in Ontario Canada, the Ontario Enduro Series is gaining momentum as the XCO format racing fades into the background. The staged enduro format is so great for a more social style of racing and getting a fun experience on the mountain bike. Two things people are craving from MTB races. https://ontarioenduroseries.com/

Is the UCI World Cup Prize Money Model Broken? Wyn Masters Exposes Payout Disparities
The sport is being ruined by WBD buying the TV rights and jacking up subscription prices to try and increase ARR to satisfy shareholders. Completely broken model for pulling in advertisers when you tank viewership by putting up a walled garden. Make the content free(or extremely affordable again) for viewers, draw in lots of sponsors when the viewership goes way up, distribute those profits throughout the teams through increased salaries which heightens the competition and quality of the product.
