This is one of the first full suspension frames on the market - own a piece of history! A true 4-link retro bike frame. No cracks, nothing is bent, but there is quite a bit of cosmetic damage due to how old this frame is. I do not have the rear shock for it anymore, but I believe it requires a 6" shock. All pivots are rock solid without any play. Frame measures 52cm from centre of BB to top of seattube - label under BB says it's an 18.

Seat tube measures 48cm from centre of BB to top of seat post tube; top tube measures about 52.5cm from centre of steerer to seatpost. This is an ultra light steel Allez frame imported from the USA - these were never for sale in Canada. This makes it kind of a rare frameset. There are a few chips here and there in the paint, so it's not show-room new by any means, but it is an older steel frame so that just adds character. Comes exactly as pictured: Trek Bontrager carbon fibre fork, Crank Brothers Cobalt XC headset, Specialized 100mm adjustable angle stem, 2 titanium water bottle cages, Speciialized carbon fibre seatpost. Willing to entertain partial trades on guitars and gear. Specifically looking for a Fender Mustang amp/head, or interesting electric guitars.

Built this bike up a few years ago and used it for a while to tour Alberta, but since then it's just been sitting in my garage, unused. Comes with everything pictured, including all the bags and accessories. This bike is very comfortable and easy to ride with 100+ lbs of gear on it. Full parts list is below. I'll cut right to the chase: the frame is rough. It's also older than you are! Originally released in the early 90's, these were among the first real full suspension mountain bikes you could buy, period! And this one has a lot of other fun components on it - even if they aren't at all original. If you're looking at this ad, and you know anything about these bikes, you know how rare this is and likely appreciate it. Everything on this bike was chosen to be as period accurate as I could get it and as top of the line as I could manage. The one caveat was the crankset - I never could find an older XTR or FSA set that wasn't broken, so I went overkill instead. And on that note, everything other than the chain and a little bit of play in the rear hub is in really good working condition, making this a functional piece of mountain biking history! Is this going to be your daily? Not likely. But it is cool as heck.
