I'm feeling like an absolute noob watching this pro events, but Brett Rheeder impressed me with his first trick. He and Godziek also did complete runs (ended both sitting on their bikes. Emil had only one complete run an he drifted sideways and was going over the fence ! They are all on a level that is so awesome, including the judges who always have the hardest job !

Video: Course Preview with Gee Atherton - Fort William DH World Cup 2019
Respect to everyone who can ride this track in those conditions. Gee´s whole career is awesome and after all this years on the highest level he is still racing with consistant good results. Look a bit for your health, do less party and focus more on the fitness seems to be a really good thing in the long term of a humans live. Gee is a legend for the downhill sport. It would be nice if he finds the time to put in some more track previews this season.

Aaron Gwin Comments on Injured Ankle, Broken Cranks, & More
Last week i dismounted my SixC cranks, which are stand for one of the best and most expensive carbon cranks. Downhill and carbon cranks are a bad combo. I learned that a few years ago by overshooting the landing of a big table with the sram X0 DH carbon cranks. Luckily i had no injury after that slam. The weight saving on carbon cranks is not worth the risk. I like the atlas alloy cranks from race face, they are lighter than the good old shimano saints but more pretty and obviously also very strong and reliable.

Now Finished: Ask Me Anything with Trauma & Orthopaedic Doctor Henry Turner
I think he keeps your question unanswered because surgery's and recovery durations are very individual and only a bad doctor can give you an exact answer. If i want to shorten a recovery time of an injury, I always put my concentration on the health of my whole body. For those bigger injuries which need more time to heal it is good to have some confidence and patience.

Video: Sölden, Austria Rolls Out Its Alpine Carpet for Mountain Bikers
@DutchmanPhotos: Yes, same experience here. Can't wait for the season opening. Some say that it is only for Enduros, but i had a lot of fun with the big bike. @all: The lifts are modern, fast and BIG. The most trails begins directly on the lift exits and it´s a wide area with two gondolas and an 6er chairlift. A bunch of different trails. The level goes from beginners to experienced bikers. Most trails are technical or really flowy, a few are boring. The good thing is that they are always building new and long trails. There is no jump line with big doubles and no whip-off jump. However, it´s a cool bikepark. :-)

Like those freaking TV-Shows from Japan. Its dangerous and nearly impossible, but very entertaining.

@Lastpikd: Yes, you can see it in slow mo. After that kicking bump he could keep that nosebonk where it belongs.

Save money, just change the oil in the legs every few months and in the cartridge every year. I would do just a little bit more oil into the legs and the air-chamber as in the manual described. For me there is no reason to change any seals mid season as long everything works well. Take a look by the golfers accessories if you need a 5$ clamp-tool for the cartridge. Check the Fox service manuals and you can see that every step is very easy. Beside the original oil for the damping, you can take cheaper oil for the legs.

Video: The Starling Cycles Sturn is a Single-Speed DH Bike
Ok, single speed (and a chain system which prevents pedal kickback) is a really good thing when you only ride park with your big bike. To have a system with an simple idler and tensioner is easy to maintain and a cleaner solution. One more chain and two more chainrings with an axle looks ugly. Sorry, but for me it feels like backward engineering.
