www.bigdeal.gesture.com Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has been 100 percent dedicated to kids for more than 100 years. A not-for-profit organization, Children’s is dedicated to making kids better today and healthier tomorrow. Our specialized care helps children get better faster and live healthier lives. Managing more than 870,000 patient visits annually at three hospitals and 27 neighborhood locations, Children’s is the largest healthcare provider for children in Georgia and one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers in the country.
Children’s offers access to more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs and is ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report. With generous philanthropic and volunteer support since 1915, Children’s has impacted the lives of children in Georgia, the United States and throughout the world. Children’s provides quality pediatric care to kids from all walks of life – but we can’t do it alone. On average, it costs $3.4 million a day to operate our facilities. We depend on the generous support of our donors to help uphold our mission to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow. Donor support allows us to purchase new equipment, provide top-notch clinical care, and offer patient services that make us uniquely Children’s.
The Big Deal is a fundraising event that will honor the innovation and impact made by the many physicians who proudly serve Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta each and every day. The evening will feature games of chance, dinner, a silent auction and live music. We will also honor three outstanding physicians whose medical expertise and passion for pediatrics have helped shape our community.Sponsors and attendees of The Big Deal provide hope to the more than 365,000 unique patients that Children's serves each year. Proceeds support Children’s 1998 Society Funding Initiatives which provides equipment, programs, staffing and research to advance Children's mission. The 1998 Society is made up of doctors who support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta philanthropically through their annual gifts.
Fresh Bike Service, Inc. believes in giving back to our community, and we feel it is an integral part of our mission. We want to play an active role in our community, and we saw an incredible opportunity present itself when Yeti Cycles launched this incredible limited edition bike in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. Only 250 of these bikes were manufactured and only 150 came into the US. At Fresh Bikes we made several sweet upgrades to the bike to help improve the auction value, including adding a custom built set of carbon wheels to the bike to make it even more special for the recipient.
This is the same bike that Enduro World Series Champion, Richie Rude, rode to the overall world title in the 2015 EWS. And, it is the same bike Jared Graves won the last stop of the EWS aboard. The winner of the bike auction will also receive a signed Richie Rude jersey from Fresh Bikes! The SB6c is one of the fastest and most desired enduro bikes on the market to date, and Mr. Rude continues to dominate aboard this remarkable bike again this year.
30th Anniversary SB6c Highlights This bike is dialed to the nine and wearing all the latest performance components from around the globe. This bike was designed to win enduro races on the Enduro World Series. The SB6c is a bike that needs little introduction. Switch Infinity, coupled with an incredible throwback paint scheme, makes for one incredibly beautiful bike. The limited run of SB6c bikes features an updated Carbon Fiber frame with internally routed cables and a 148mm spaced boost rear-end. Yeti dressed the bikes in the latest custom color components from: Chris King, Race Face, DT Swiss and Fox Racing Shox. Finished off in Yeti's classic turquoise and yellow race colors. A tribute to their long history and racing past, this is a beautiful bike.
