Feb 4, 2015Custom build Jamis Dakar Bam
$1000 USDHello, I am selling my beloved Dakar Bam Jamis FR bike - I am selling it at that price because I want a quick sell. This bike was custom build in 2011 using a factory beefed-up Jamis Dakar Bam frame. It has minor scratches here and there from normal use. The inside of the frame by the derailleur hanger was scratched once by the chain (it got stuck and I tried to peddle) but nothing major. Brakes are custom made: Hayes Ace double piston with moto-X housing and Hayes lever (I have some HFX9 brake/lever I can throw in), so lot of braking power here. The rear wheel was built with a special trail rim and it is super tough. This bike was built to be able to throw everything at it, and still be able to go up (but it is on the heavy side), so it can peddle some. It is a great bike to start with and I am selling it because I am getting a more DH oriented bike. As you can see on the pictures, it was well maintained (bearings were changed and fork serviced last year) and is in working order. I also have few spare parts I will give with it. I would trade for either an enduro or a dirt jumper (preferably locally) of similar value. Send me a message if you have any questions.
