May 21, 20191x Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 710 - Upgrades
$1599 CAD-Price is best offer, but also no reason to “get rid of asap” so low balls ignored
-Will trade ONLY for these items:
i) Road bike or gravel bike(with gears, less than 5 years old), sized medium, ideally less value with
-Located in Barrie, ON - but I travel all over province for work, willing to meet places if it makes sense
-Selling as I’m just bored of it and it sits in my living room, I have no friends who mountain bike
BIKE AND DETAILS:
2015 Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 710
Size Medium
Following upgrades/changes:
-RaceFace grips -
-RaceFace stem
-RockShox Revelation 150mm fork
-15mm Deore front hub -
Nobby Nic tires, two light seasons on them
-Shimano XT *rear brake only* (I had busted the lever of the OEM Shimano brake, so I upgraded only rear at the time for cost reasons, front brake is stock with rotor upgrade, works just fine)
-203mm front brake rotor
-30t N/W RaceFace chain ring (1x conversion)
Sram GX 10spd rear mech (with clutch)
-Brand new spokes on front rim, to fit the bigger hub
I bought it Fall of 2015 and rode it very little each summer since.
Aside from from small nicks here and there around chainstay, the bike glows. There’s no damage, it rides extremely quiet and tight as I barely rode it, and when I did it was very lightly.
Really no reason to “get rid of it” so I’m ignoring garbage offers, but if someone is looking for a nice FS bike to upgrade to and will enjoy it like it should be we can talk offers.
The bike was $2300 + tax new, I’m north of $1000 in parts.
I’d like to ask $1599, or best offer and see where it goes.
