Video: How To Ride Until You're 70 & Beyond with Ben Plenge from the Strength Factory
I'm 44. Rode over 11,000 total kms last year between MTB, commuting, bikepacking, and a small amount of road riding. Off-season strength training is so important. I've been riding and racing MTBs since I was a teen. Certainly bikes are better now, and I have a very dialed Tyee as my main sled that would put my 1996 GT Tequesta to shame, lol. But I may be faster now than I ever was. Haven't hit the peak yet!

Video: Friday Fails #304
Man, I will never understand what compels many of the folks to hit lines or drops that they are very obviously nowhere near ready for. You should be able to look at drop or a jump and know with near certainty that you can stick it before attempting. Stakes are too high with injury to just send it off a 6ft drop in Moab on what appears to be your first time riding a bicycle.

This is not sustainable. When can the rich take a rocket to Mars to descend Olympus Mons?

Review: 2023 Propain Tyee CF
@fentoncrackshell: I dunno man, I live and ride the North Shore and the Sea-2-sky for 20 years. I'm not a novice rider... I find it works fine for me. Ideally this bike would have a 175mm dropper, but I have no real issues with the 150 tbh. I ride everything on the shore, it's never been a limiter. And you don't ride these lines on a hardtail.

Review: 2023 Propain Tyee CF
The only thing I don't love about my Tyee is the long seatube limiting the dropper I can use. 5'11" and riding a size large. Would love to run a 175mm dropper, but it's just too tall. Can only run a 150 unfortunately. Otherwise, it's the best bike I've owned by far.

UCI Limits Some Transgender Athletes from Competing in International Races
I remember when Rachel McKinnon "won" the UCI masters track cycling championships. The cis-female athlete she beat was pilloried in the media as a "transphobe" for speaking out about how she felt losing to a MtF athlete that clearly had a substantial advantage in a discipline determined by peak power - which we know males eclipse females on.... Not only was she not recognized as the World Champ in her sport, she was also made out to be some kind of a bigot for saying she didn't agree with MtF racers in track cycling. Which in hindsight, is obviously ridiculous if you know anything about track cycling....
