Giant Reign 1
$900 USDGiant Reign 1 size small. Perfect bike for a kid or for a smaller individual. 6" inches travel front and back. Low stand over height. Short stem. 26" wheels. Our 14 year old out grew but would fit most kids over 9 or so I would guess. Few upgrades from stock. Fox DHXAir rear shock. Chromag handlebars. Newish 1x10 drivetrain. Dropper post that works "most" the time (maybe a service is due soon?). Front chain ring set up so it granny gears fine up the hill and bombs down like a boss. Brakes are dialed. Lots more use of this bike. Love to see it passed on. Local pickup only. 29.5 pounds.

Specialized Safire Comp
$600 USDSafire Comp. 2008. It has been used by my kids the last few years but it is in great working order. No riding of anyone over 100 pounds since i have owned it. Brakes are great. Shifts perfectly. This is a great bike for a shorter person or a kid looking to transition into a full suspension bike. It is light and climbs very well. Charges downhill. Low stand over height. I think it is 100-120mm travel on front and rear. I believe it is stock except the pedals. Yeah it is pink but don't let that fool you! Both my boys rode this with no F's given. Anyone who laughs wont be laughing long when they smoke the others on the ups and the downs.
