I am a Master tech certified technician from Barnetts Bike institute. Fork seals and fluid were changed last season, brakes are regularly bled, and pivot bearings maintained. This bike has been loved, well taken care of, and ridden. There is typical paint chipping in areas of rock bite, scrapes to the derailleur, and your usual cosmetic stuff but the bike is in perfect working order and ready to rip. Size is 21” XL but I am 5,10. Keep in mind bikes now a days are a lot, lot bigger then they used to be as this XL is comparable to geometry and current mediums. Please compare geometry before making a decision. I am open to giving advise or a test ride to be sure. Upgrades -Fox 36 RC2 160mm fork -Fox DHX2 158mm shock with lockout and lightweight 140 or 150lb spring. This shock is oh so good -E13 LG1 Carbon Downhill front wheel. Bombproof, light and snappy -Brand new Maxxis Assegai 2.6 front and brand new Dissector 2.6 rear set up tubeless. I’ve put around 60 miles on this bike and have come to realize it’s just not the right size for me. The bike rides and performs beautifully and anyone who picks it up would feel right at home on this rig. I have made some upgrades and improvements in an effort to fit it to my dimensions but it is still a bit to long in the cockpit. Upgrades are as follows. - Easton EA 70 AX bars - still have stock bars if you need them. - Easton EA 90 SL 100mm stem - Fizik Antares saddle - Shimano SL pedals “ not pictured - Dt Swiss wheel-set Giant carbon zero offset seat post- still have original if needed. Original equipment Full Carbon Giant Defy Advanced Frame (size large) w/ Carbon fiber fork - Shimano hydraulic disk brakes w/ like new brake pads (less than 10 short rides on them) - Specialized Armadillo all condition 32c tires - Shimano Ultegra 2x11 drivetrain
