I just started getting into the whole dirt jump/DH/freeride thing. right now i ride street and some dirt bmx and thought this looked like a lot of fun and a good way to work on bike control and challenge myself so i could transfer skills i learn from both disciplines.

they're odyssey directors and instead of having dropouts that are welded on like most forks, the ends of the forks go directly into them but in order to give them a more standard feel odyssey kicks them forward so that the front wheel sits in the same position as it would on a normal pair of forks, but the theory is that the direct dropout thing gives them more strength, whether thats true or not is debatable but i havent had a problem with them :)
