About time a national level DH event came to Snowshoe again. The mountain tests riders more than most in East, not to mention the awesome trail crew, patrol team, and resort amenities that provide racers and spectators with an experience above most. Can't wait to see who turns out for this!

Race one of the Snowshoe Gravity Series was a blast. This one will be the same if not better as the UCI boys take some time off. I'd expect to see all the east coasters like Rude, Mullally, Fesperman, Shaw Bros, etc.... maybe some more. GoJaMMedia will be covering the event 3 people strong with DeLorme, Schultz, and Heaton doing what we do. Can't wait. Stoked!

If you are planning on coming to the race book your lodging early. Snowshoe has a 3rd night free lodging deal going on right now. You have to book by the 22nd though.

So if I am reading correctly on the reg. page it will cost almost 200 dollars to race Downhill alone? They have lost their minds IMO!
I had the weekend off and condo reserved! Think I am backing out now, cuz in my lifetime, I ain't dropping 230 bucks for both events when I can go to Beech Mtn. for the whole weekend that cheap. USAC is greety! I already gave em 150 for a license, I just can't bend over for this one.

i hope that they are doing lower hairball! That trail is a true test of downhilling.... As for the top hope its the Pro DH or Upper Hairball and definatley should include the West Ridge Road Gap
  • 1 0
I am sure they'll have the Cupp Cake Road Gap in the course. Not sure about Lower Hair Ball, have yet to see a race include that section of trail.
  • 1 0
They have ran lower hairball numerous times and for the.old norbas they used wildzone to lower hairball....
