Apr 18, 2013swd racing crazy 8
$900 USDSelling my crazy 8. Has been stripped down to bare metal and repainted. Everything works great as it should. Only been ridden a few times since rebuilt.
I am 5'9 and it fits me well but woulda fit smaller riders just fine.
2008 boxxer team, rebuilt with new seals and fresh oil. Spring for 150lb rider
vivid coil rear shock
Fsa headset, sunline bars, bolt on stem
rear wheel is mavic ex721 on atomlab hub, front is en521 on shimano hub. Saint brakes, shimano 9speed drivertrain, saint cranks. Roadside cassette and derailleur. Rubber queen ust (runs tubes tho).
Great beginner dh bike, or for those who prefer a steel frame. I simply don't have time to ride it anymore, so it needs to go.

No thanks, not really looking for another bike and about all I can play musically is the radio. Thanks for your interest just the same.

Mar 11, 2011Versus Jab PRICE DROP
$450 USDSelling my Versus Jab, bought the frame new in fall of '09 and built it up over the winter.
Components are as follows
Fork: Rockshox Tora 318 solo air lowered to 80mm, has motion control damper bought as new takeoff, no problems whatsoever. Strong enough for me, decently light and adjustable.
Wheelset: Sun MTX polished rims (strong and not too heavy, also pretty rare), straight gauge spokes, brass nipples, Atomlab pimp "fun-bolt" 9mm hubs
Drivetrain: Hone Cranks, singlespeed 32x16 (also have 18 and 14 tooth sprockets), KMC chain, will come with tensioners that are not currently installed.
Brakes: Avid BB5, G2 cleansweep rotors, FR5 levers, new cables and housing and pads. Front brake is not installed but will be included- could use a new rotor.
Controls: Answer Protaper bars 680x25.4x50mm, Atomlab Pimplite Stem 38mm, Spank Lock-ons, Oddyssey Twisted pedals, FSA pro-impact headset, Fly post,
Supercross BMX saddle. All the controls are stupid light without compromising strength.
Tires: Maxxis Larsen TT 2.35 front like new, Specialized Fast trak 2.0 worn out but it works perfectly for the bike.
I am very meticulous about maintenance. I build and maintain all of my bike. All of these components were chosen for a reason, the bike was not cobbled together with spare parts. This bike rides great. Can be converted to geared setup, has removable derailleur hanger/ISCG tabs/cassette hub. Also has the sticker sheets versus sent me to personalize the bike, if I can find them.
I hate to sell but bills have to come before bikes and this one doesn't get ridden enough.
Not really looking to trade, need cash more than stuff but it never hurts to ask so let me know what you've got.
Buyer pays shipping. I will package to withstand world war 3 at my cost.

Damn sorry to hear about your shoulder- hope it heals up quick and you don't miss too much time on the bike.
My leg was just about healed up when I did almost the same thing when I broke it (doh!), but luckily only ended up w/ a bad strain in my ankle. I've been taking it easy for the past two weeks so I don't do anything else stupid to it.
From the looks of those videos I'd say your digging the Rune pretty well...

I really like it, especially because I got it as a new takeoff for peanuts( like $100 shipped to my door).
Originally I had a 100mm coil Tora on this bike that was in the parts bin. It was ok but I really wanted a shorter fork so I got this one which is Air, and has the Motion control damper (although not the adjustable one that my pike and boxxer have). I put the spacers in it for 80mm and run about 200psi in it (I'm about 145lbs) and it really feels nice. Also I really like the steel stanchions because they take alot more abuse than aluminum. It's pretty light too, maybe around 4.25lbs or something like that. A good bit under 5,for sure.
They do make a Tora with a maxle, but I think they are kinda hard to find as they just started making them recently. I already had these wheels, which have "fun bolts" or whatever they are called and I don't really notice any flex. Granted, I am decently smooth and am not trying to pull 180's or anything so for me there really isn't need for a thru-axle.
If I was bigger/braver/or richer I would probably be on an Argyle but right now the Tora is more than adequate.

Thanks! Nah I've had it for a while, just got some new bits: saddle, post, bars, stem, pedals. It got robbed of parts to build the DH bike and I finally go it back to being ride-able. I am about to lace those rims up to some new hubs for the DH rig and get something lighter for this bike. If I ever get around to it.
