Giant Declares 'Made in China' Era Over Citing Trump Tariffs
If you think robots and automation do everything you must be severely mistaken. I'm a manufacturing engineer in the US and work around automation all the time to produce machined components. My dad runs a big company that produces welded components. Both the companies we work for supply the foundation for the economy in our inmediate area. Manufacturing is still the only job position that poses as a 5 time multiplier in jobs outside of itself as in service and support jobs. Manufacturing is what builds communities and supports families. Automation technology is what could make it possible for the US to compete with huge corps like Giant as we can produce smarter and at more steady rate. Still many are right that the corps wont move here due to the focus the tariffs have on raw materials and specific origins. Yet the current situation has allowed american steel mills to be rolling more again and foundaries to be pouring. We currently cant buy enough cutting tools or raw materials from anywhere in the world to meet our production demands. The tariffs are doing something, even if the effects aren't upbringing a permanent solution to the real issue.

Its a great mini-dh/ enduro trail bike
Loved this bike but its time for something new
Rear stays got dented pretty good so I get replacements from Giant and painted them black to match and they look great.
Old stays can be included too if you want them.
DHX2 is gone in a trade so it now has a float X2 performance if you want a shock with it.
Ask about hardware or parts you want and I can include them.
Whole bike posted as well for $2000
Will consider trade. Preferably something 27.5 compatible so I can do some part swapping.
