KS Release LEV Circuit Wireless Dropper Seat Post
@kevinturner12: when it's in comparison to all the more expensive posts in its specific category. Clearly this was in reference other wireless droppers, not droppers as a whole.

First Look: The Aper KOMPace Has "Rising Pivot Technology"
This did seem a bit odd to me. presumably the point of this design is the performance that the axle path gives, but then you have the downside of a regressive curve. seems like they would need to be very careful about what shocks people run and all of them would need a custom tune. I wonder if the possible advantages in axle path can ever offset that.

Review: EXT ERA V2.1 Fork
yeah this is a pretty big disadvantage in my opinion. One of my favorite things about rockshox suspension is how easy it is to servixe, both in terms of parts availability and documentation. Fox is pretty good as well. a lot of the boutique suspension brands don’t seem to support their products in the same way and for me that makes it a much harder sell.

Ask Pinkbike: Fox 38 Damper Tuning, Short Cranks for eMTBs, Axle to Crown Heights, & How to Avoid Going Over the Bars
@willdabeast410: yeah I was more referring just to a lowers and aircan service. Dampers require a little more willingness to get into the weeds. I don't hold such a dim view that most people are too stupid to figure out how to insert a wrench, but certainly some shouldn't go anywhere near anything on their bike. also I didn't mean sell an x2 because of the reliability, but rather the fact that to do an aircan service you have to rebleed the damper, plus the special tools needed to take it apart in the first place. If you ride a lot it's a shock that's kinda a pita or expensive to maintain. I only service my damper like once a year or probably more accurately when it gets a little squelchy, but I drop my lowers and pop off my aircan every 2 to 3 months.

I think part of the reason people don't service their suspension is because it is so expensive to have a shop do it. I wish more people would realize how easy it is to do at home. Unless you have an x2 lol. then you should just buy a different shock.

First Look: Specialized Kenevo SL 2 with SL 1.2 Motor
@sherbet: Aside from the Simplon are there any actual bikes designed for proper mountain biking? So far it doesn't really seem like they do exist. I'd like to see at least one big brand in north america make one.

Deviate Adds UDH Compatibility to Claymore & Highlander II Frames
@lkubica: It can't run the latest components so it's outdated. Outdated bikes become obsolete faster than up to date bikes. I assume if you don't care you wouldn't buy a new rear triangle so this seems like a good way to please both the people to whom t-type or hanger accessibility is a big deal and not affect the people who couldn't care less. I don't really know how continued support of an old model is ever a bad thing.

Pinkbike Poll: What Are Your Must-Have Features On a New Mountain Bike?
@GTscoob: I wish bike manufacturers would stop advertising it as a feature. And the only reason they do is because people have it stuck in their head that pf bbs suck when in reality it is the frames that suck. Well that and nylon cups. I wish some company advertised their pf bbs and tolerances.
