nice prep work, solid.
1. That berm is 24' Dia 12' Rad
2. That Berm has 24 y3 of mineral soil
3. Yes you can get away with smaller. We make them fat because our parks must endure 'the public'. Between riders with no etiquette and people who never do maintenance we need to beef up our berms so that they last a long time and a rough time.

There are definitely ideas floating around...stoked to get the park in and then work with the community to develop trails. Tough digging in the Tofino jungle!
