I am selling my Surly Cross Check but I am sad because this bike can do it all and i haven't seen one yet with this bass boat sparkle paint. It has the knobby tires on it so it would do fine for gravel grinding, gravel touring, road touring or cyclocross racing. I also have 700x28 tires and full coverage fenders for road touring or riding. The racks, and panniers can be removed to make it into a regular road or gravel bike. The rear dropouts are horizontal so you can make it into a fixed gear or single speed if you want to. However, I built this bike for touring so it has some special pieces. The rims are 36 hole and the spokes are straight gauge so the wheels are strong. The drive train is a mix between mountain bike and road touring. The front chainrings are for touring which means they are not as big as a road bike but not as small as a mountain bike. The front shifter is Campagnolo so it can be incrementally adjusted. This prevents the front derailer from rubbing when you are in the biggest or smallest cog on the cassette. I am selling a set of formula brakes. The front one is 790mm long, 210 grams with mounting bolts and model “THE ONE.” The rear brake is 1290mm long, 240 grams with mounting bolts and the lever is a “ORO” model with a carbon lever blade and the caliper is a “PURO.” These brakes came on a used bike I bought and I rode them for a little while so I know they work great. The only reason I am selling them is because I already have 7 pairs of shimano brakes between me, the wife and kids. I already have the fluid and bleed kit for shimano so I bought another shimano set to replace these.

This an XTR crankset that comes with a BB. The bearings are smooth in the bottom bracket and it will fit a 68 or 72mm frame with the use of the included spacers. crank bolt and two chainrings are included. the chainrings are 4 bolt 22t and 32t. the carnk arms are 170mm
