This has bike has only been used for the last 2 months, and is in very good condition. I work as a mechanic at Rebound Cycle, so it's been professionally maintained and serviced. The photos show the bike with some of my gear on, but for sale that will be removed and the original drivetrain, brakes, bars and grips, saddle and seat post will be re-fitted. They are all in new condition. Only the frame and wheels have been used, the wheels have been set up tubeless. Get in touch to see what we can work out. 26 x 4.8 Surly Lou tyres, 100mm width Surly Clown shoe rims on Salsa hubs. 1×11 Shimano XT drivetrain, 22t chainring. Surly MWOD cranks. If preferred I can fit the original Sram 2×10 drivetrain, which is in excellent condition. Hope Race X2 brakes. Includes a Salsa Alternator rear rack that costs £140. It’s an awesome addition as it allows the use of panniers and easy storage on top. The frame and forks have some aesthetic scuffs and scratches, but mechanically it’s perfect. Used as a spare wheelset since February. A nice, tough 29er trail wheelset. The rims are taped with Stan's tubeless tape (no valves included). Some aesthetic marks on the rims but no dings, they're running straight and true. The hubs are Boost spaced 15mm front and 12mm rear. Shimano freehub with the usual light marks from an XT cassette. The rear hub has begun to feel just a little rough, so I'll include a replacement set of bearings for it. I travel all over the Central Belt and as far as Aviemore, so contact me and we can try to sort out a meeting because that always works better. Otherwise, I can post at the buyer's cost if needed.

My trusty, trundly 29+ Krampus is for sale! He's been to Patagonia, Nepal and all over The UK on adventures, but an imminent bike surplus means he's going to have to find a loving new home. The only stock parts left are the frame and rims, there have been a lot of upgrades over the stock bike, which costs £1700 for a much heavier build - Surly Krampus Ops frame, M - Salsa Firestarter Carbon 15mm rigid fork (including carbon steerer). These are £500 new and weigh 750g total, they also have bolt mounts for a Salsa Anything Cage. - BRAND NEW Shimano XT brakes and Ice-tech discs - Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs on Surly Rabbit hole rims. Tubelessed with Maxxis Chronicles - Surly OD chainset allows the possibility of a 2x drivetrain (brand new BB fitted) - 1 x 10 Shimano SLX drivetrain - Thomson Elite seat-post £1050 (can do a lower price with the original, steel forks) He's been some places and seen some stuff, so there are plenty of small marks and scuffs, but overall the frame is in good condition with very few marks having gone through the paint. If you're after a pristine bike then please carry on looking somewhere else. If you're after a well-specced, reliable bike that will take you anywhere and beyond without grumbling, give me a message.
