METHOD I use a digital tensiometer calibrated on my own custom-made calibration jig, and finish out the build by compressing the tubeless tape overnight with a tube and tire. My general build standards are a target tension of 5% below manufacturer max rating (e.g. a 120 kg-f rim would be built to 115 kg-f), tension variance per side of 3% or less (e.g. at a 115 kg-f target, acceptable range is 113 to 117 kg-f), with radial and lateral runouts of 0.2 mm or less (disregarding the weld seam if present). *BRASS VS. Older DMR 4130 steel frame in good condition. Horizontal dropouts and BMX bottom bracket shell. Has a sprocket guard welded onto the dropout. No model name decal but I believe it's a Rhythm. Has the "APS" switchable cantilever brake mounts for 24" or 26".
