Review: After 13 Years Shimano’s Saint Brakes Are Still on Top for Outright Power
I'd agree these are amazing brakes but the stock pads were some of the worst I have come across. After trying 3 sets of OEM pads(1 pre-installed, 2 new) to reduce noise and lack of power, I switched to MTX reds and just about tossed myself off the bike on the first test ride. Going on 3 years and half a dozen sets of pads and these are still some of the best performers out there
