Dec 15, 2022Santa Cruz Bronson V1 L-Xl
$2000 CADAs the first edition of 4 generations of Bronsons, this bike is a true do it all machine. While it may be catered more to the trail genre of riding by today's standards, it's still capable of hitting laps at the bike park and keeping up on harder hitting trails.
I built this bike up from a frame over the last year so for the most part the components are new or barely used.
Here's the details:
11-42 tooth 11 speed rear cassette with gx derailleur and nx shifter
30 tooth front chainring
Like new 175mm nx cranks
Like new WTB i27 lite 32 spoke wheels
Front hub is Hope pro 2, not sure 'bout the back
Rear shock is a Fox Float CTD with an upgraded Kashima stanchion
Front fork is the stock 150mm RockShox Pike rc
Like new Brakes are 2021 (or 2020, not sure) Sram G2R's (4 piston calipers)
Rotors are 180mm front and rear
New Grips are Specialized XL
New stem FUNN crossfire
Seat post is a Brand X Ascend 125mm
Any questions please ask. The bike does not come with pedals but I can put either spds or flats on it for test riding.
While the bike is technically an Xl, it would best fit someone between 5'8" and 6'1-2". At 6'4" I'm a little cramped on it, but it fits my normal sized friends perfectly. It's best you come and try it out as sizing is so dependant on preference and riding style.
Finally, the bad: The frame itself has its share of dings and scratches. The worst spot is on the underside of the chainstays where the paint is gone from chainslap and rock strikes. The fork also has a small scuff mark on the stanchion (as pictured) but it's not affected the seals at all thus far.
Last of all the bike is available to view pretty much anytime any day, so don't hesitate to reach out!
