It was lightly ridden last summer, but the times I spent on it were amazing. Let's talk upgrades: First, I swapped out the brakes for some Magura MT5s. Seriously, these things are game-changers. They felt so good under my fingers and instantly helped me step up my riding game. Plus, I threw on an SRAM XO1 derailleur for smoother shifting and less hassle on the trails because derailleur problems have to be one of my biggest pet peeves. The rear shock also received a full service at the end of last year, so it’s running smoother than ever. Both wheels also have Cush Core rim inserts That means fewer worries about flats and cracks and more focus on sending it down the mountain. Riding this Nomad 6 is an absolute blast. It's like having a downhill bike that climbs surprisingly well for its downhill capabilities. Seriously, I tackled a few bucket list steep and chunky trails with ease on this thing.
