Dec 6, 2011Norco Six + THE Carbon lid.
$700 GBPSelling up my bike as i've messed up my knee and it's just too difficult to ride hard now.
It's a Norco Six 1 that i built up from a brand new frame in 2009, really light weight and really good fun to ride. It's the best bike i've ever owned and i will be really sad to see it go. Took ages to get it right but it's the perfect small freeride bike for the UK. It will take most of the abuse you can throw at it. It's never let me down and i've never felt i could do with more bike.
So the Spec:
Frame - SMALL Six one (I'm 6ft 1 and I can use all day)
Shock - Xfusion O2r
Forks - 66RC (Air sprung)
Headset - Sunline All mountain
Stem - Thomson 50mm jobbie
Brakes - Hope Momo M4 with custom real carbon top caps. Aztec rotors.
Cranks - Shimano Deore LX
BB - I don't remember.. I'ts pink and it's not standard
Wheels - Hope Pro 2 front hub. Shimano deore rear (Never got round to upgrading) On Team spec Dee-max rims (Not Tubeless)
Drivetrain - Sram X9 all round. Short cage rear mech.
Chain guide - MRP with black rollers
Pedals - Silm Jims
Bits - Raceface seat post. Imperial grips. SDG Saddle.
Helmet is a THE ONE carbon in the 'Lux' colour
The bike has a nice spec and really is fun. I'm not going to let it go cheap because i can't ride it anymore but i may as well let someone else give it a go.
Only has 2 problems i know of -- Rear brake needs a bleed and one of the bushings on the rear shock is wobbly.
Located in Reading. Could post at a cost.
£700 ono :) want it gone as it's not being used..
Will trade for a MK2 golf >.> Or some interesting 15" wheels for my MX5 or GFs polo.
Not looking for another bike, no matter what it is.
James.
