Let's Get Fat - Video
twozerosix : You are correct, our video did not go far to counteract the common notion/bias towards 27+ bikes, but once again, this is not an ad, or a promotional video for 27+. We were not trying to depict the nimbleness of the bike, or show that it can hit turns at mach speed. Our goal and hope was to make a fun quick edit with some nice sounds of tires over rocks before a snowstorm hit us here on the east coast! In terms of your comment about a requirement of advanced skill: that all depends on your definition of "advanced skill". Other than that please keep in mind that videos rarely give justice to the difficulty of a trail or section of trail. I hope I am not coming across as defensive. I certainly do not consider myself as a truly "advanced" rider, and honestly just want to have fun and ride my bike! Hope that all made sense and ride-on!!

MojoMaujer : This is actually not an advertisement. Whole goal of the video was to get a nice shred-it in before the snow storm hit us here on the east coast!

Exactly!! 27+ honestly just gets a bad rep because its new and seems odd. To be honest, I think everyone is a bit skeptical whenever anything new comes out on the market, and its good that they are, it forces the industry to think harder about what they do. Once you ride a plus size, you realize that the whole intent is really just to make a more fun bike. The fact is that yes it does improve confidence on technical terrain, but you don't need to be a beginner to enjoy that! What it does for more experienced riders is allows them to make faster decisions in terms of line choice. If you make the wrong choice, the tires will save you 9 times out of 10. You still have to think about what you are doing, but you also have 3 inches of tire there to back you up! Also, in terms of hitting turns hard. All these tires do is allow you to hit turns harder! It takes some serious speed to loose traction on the mid-fats! Also, this is not an ad. Just a fun shred-it on some rocky trails!

Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert 650B (Large)

$3999 USD
Up for sale is a Large 2016 Specialized Stumpy Expert 650B in orange and black. Sadly, I have grown too tall for the large frame (I'm now 6ft and 4in), and so it is time to let her go. Everything mechanically and in terms of ride quality is perfect. In terms of components, if there are any questions, or if there is any desire to see the complete components list, please ask in either PinkBike messenger or text me at the number supplied to Josh Craig. New Parts: The bike will come with new break pads (already burned in and ready to shred!), a new PC-X1 Chain which has yet to be ridden, and a new Sram X-Sync Steel Chainring (not pictured) which will also be ready for its first ride ever! Parts of Interest: I have given the bike a few upgrades as listed below. - Fast Trak Control Rear Tire - Sram XX1 Rear Derailleur with Aluminum Cage - Sram XO1 10-42 Cassette Notes: Both tires are set up tubeless, crank boots and Marsh Guard mud flap are included, plastic flat pedals can be included on demand, all S.W.A.T. accessories (tool, top cap chain tool, bottle cage, and in-frame wraps) are included, and weight is approximately 27-28 pounds without pedals. The bike has been completely taken apart and cleaned/re-greased, both brakes are freshly bled and everything is ready to ride. Also, buyer pays shipping. Once again, if there are any questions at all, please ask!! I love talking about the bike, and would love to answer anything anyone is unsure about in terms of the bike, ride quality, paint chips, components, service history etc.

Let's Get Fat - Video
Most of the video is filmed on the 2,000 Hours Trail on Massanutten's western slope. The first 20 seconds or so was filmed on the upper Ravine Trail, which is literally right across the road at the top of the mountain from 2,000 hours trail. If you look up the Shenandoah Bicycle Company shop and get their address, you can stop by there and those guys will tell you everything you need to know!
