Sep 17, 2017Scott Genius 710 size Large- amazing condition.
$3500 USD2014 carbon model but purchased new in Sept, 2015 (so basically 2 yrs old) from LBS and ridden minimally so in outstanding condition overall. Has a few small scratches in various locations but very few overall.
Recent upgrades include:
- Easton Haven carbon wheels (retail for $2100, purchased new summer of 2016 and still under warranty. Aside from a couple very small scratches, appear nearly new).
- Rockshox Pike 150mm RC3 fork (purchased new spring, 2016. Again, a couple very small scratches, otherwise flawless, and stanchions perfect).
- 1x10 gearing with 42t One Up giant cog.
- rear brake pads replaced 1 month ago.
- Just replaced the following so are brand new: XT cassette, chain, Easton lock on grips, SDG Falcon saddle, Raceface Aeffect 35, 760mm low rise bar.
- will likely need a near rear tire fairly soon, but front 2.35 Magic Mary has tons of life left. Set up tubeless at the moment.
- Raceface Turbine 35, 60mm stem. Have a Easton Haven 35, 70mm stem if preferred.
+ ability to control setting of rear shock with cable- actuated remote- an awesome feature and allegedly why its named 'Genius'.
+ this bike climbs nearly as well as any xc race bike I've owned, and is a super capable descender- Amazingly versatile bike.. (Selling to go plus size in anticipation of a move to an area with more snow and sand).
+ Size-wise, it should work well for anyone around 6' tall, give or take a few inches.
+ All black carbon frame with carbon wheels and black Pike fork looks sharp and gets plenty of compliments.. :)
