Mar 26, 2026Whyte E160 RSX Mullet Mountain Bike Large Invisiframed
$2750 GBPPurchased from Rourke Cycles in Stoke On Trent where I am also an employee. I am the original owner from new. Straightaway I changed the SRAM AXS gears to mechanical SRAM GX due to personal preference. The frame was also invisiframed.
Spec as follows:
-Size Large E160 RSX (fully Invisiframed)
-Bosch Performance CX 85Nm Motor with 750 Battery
-Fox Float 38 Performance Elite 160mm travel Fork
-Fox Float X Rear Shock
-DT Swiss Hybrid HX1700 Wheelset Mullet
-2.3" Specialized Butcher Tyres. Grid Gravity front (brand new) and Black Diamond rear.
-SRAM Code RSC brakes with 220 and 200 rotors
-SRAM GX E-Bike Single Click Shifter and Rear Mech
-Raceface Cranks 165mm
-Raceface Turbine Handlebars (750mm) and 35mm Atlas Stem in 35 diameter
-Crank Brothers Highline 150mm Dropper with Highline Lever
-Specialized Henge Saddle in 155mm width
-WTB Lock On Grips (Brand new)
-Kinetic Hi Flow Tubeless Valves
Bike has done 4709 km. Battery and motor system are both in good health.
The Crank Brothers dropper was removed after approximately 6 months of use because I fitted a longer 180mm dropper. The original Crank Brothers dropper has been refitted prior to sale.
The rear wheel has been rebuilt. I decided to go mullet as the rim needed replacing regardless. It was rebuilt by DT Swiss technicians at Madison Distribution. I will include the original Whyte 29" Shape. It Link.
The suspension forks have had warranty work by Fox UK. The crown was creaking. This is a well known issue. They were fully serviced and the CSU was replaced. After the work was carried out, I noticed that there was far more support in the mid stroke. Especially at slow speed where the fork was prone to diving under braking. This work was done in summer 2024.
Lower headset bearing has been replaced.
The rear shock was serviced by Slick & Slide prior to sale. This was done in July 2025. The bike hasn't been ridden since. I can email a copy receipt to interested buyers.
I have had one electrical issue with the bike. This was within two months of ownership. One of the electrical cables was damaged. It may of been a bad batch from new. This has been replaced under warranty.
It has also received a Bosch and Whyte approved modification. This was done by a Whyte employee. A plastic shroud is fitted to protect the electrical cables behind the headtube. Water can get in through the cable ports and corrode the electrics. This Umbrella modification prevents this from happening.
There are some cosmetic marks and scuffs. It is a mountain bike and has been used in the terrain it was designed for. There are a few marks from rock strikes. Namely to the edge of the downtube protection and also to the none driveside area of the motor casing. Both are pictured.
Collection only due to size and weight of the bike. Postage is very expensive for heavy bikes.
Bike can be viewed and collected from Rourke Cycles in Stoke. Please message me to arrange.
Thanks for looking.

F*ck yes Marin!!!!!!!
I just wanted to add, I rarely comment on here because I hate the trolling and some of the negativity. I regularly read the comments but I'm not interested in having an argument with somebody I've never met.
