This is a listing for my 2013 Ghost Cagua 7000 frame with RP23 rear shock and a few extras. Size 48cm. This is an excellent but little known "All Mountain" or Enduro frame which has pretty progressive geometry for its time and still rides very well. It was far superior the known Enduro bikes of the time like the Mega, Slash and Enduro. I bought this as a complete bike in 170mm spec and I fitted the RP23 shock with a shorter eye to eye to reduce travel to 150mm, lower the bottom bracket and slacken the head angle. I consulted with Ghost directly at the time (as I worked for a distributor) and they confirmed the 170mm frame was exactly the same as the 150mm version, the only difference was the shock length. With the RP23 this bike had a lower BB and roughly a 65.5 degree head angle with a 160mm fork and a nice long reach for the time. So just to confirm, this is 150mm travel bike frame in this configuration but it was originally sold as a 170mm - the two frames are the same. The frame is a Horst link four bar linkage that works superbly and reviews of the time all concur on this. The frame is in used condition so has plenty of scratches and cable rub but given the clear lacquer over brushed finish it doesn't look too bad. If so inclined you could probably buff the lacquer off and get the frame looking new pretty easily. There is one dent of note in the down tube, it's about fingernail sized and maybe 2mm deep. There is a drainage hole in the seat tube and I was able to run a KS Lev integra dropper on the frame. The chainstays were replaced under warranty in 2018 (which is why they are black) and every frame bearing, pivot axle and piece of pivot hardware was replaced at that time. I probably used it off road ten times since then, hence the sale. Included in the sale is the Frame, shock, seat clamp, seat post shim, headset, bottom bracket and DT SWISS rear axle which is 142x12. The headset is an FSA top cup, Hope bottom, currently configured to run a straight steerer but it will accept a tappered steerer with the correct head set cups. I'm not sure about the condition of the bearings in the headset or BB, since it has been sat in storage for so long. Probably worth replacing but I don't recall any significant play. The shock is specifically tuned for this frame and leverage ratio. It has the exact some tune as the 150mm Ghost AMR and is pretty plush. All adjustments on the shock appear to be working perfectly but since it hasn't been used in a while it could probably do with a light service. The Pro-pedal lever is a bit floppy but still functions fine. I was running this frame with a 27.5 / 650b front wheel and 26" rear. It will accommodate a 650b rear wheel but only just. I tried it in the workshop but not on the trails so I can't guarantee a 650b rear wheel will work correctly without rubbing. I think that's everything. Any further questions please ask. For sale is a pair of ZEE hubs laced to Alex Supra 3 rims. 20mm bolt through front. 142 x12 rear. They are centre lock, not 6 bolt. Surprisingly light wheels for the size of them. For sale is a pair of Rockshox Pike 426 coil U-turn forks. These came on a bike which I bought second hand, I am selling them as I do not need them. Functionally the forks seem fine. The previosu owner said they had been serviced recently. They seem plush, u-turn and rebound work well. The forks appear to be set up for remote lock out but I have no remote. There is some wear on one of the stanchions (non drive side) I have tried to show this in the photos but it's hard to show. It doesn't affect them. The forks also have quite a bit of cable rub on the crown, but a sticker or light touch up will sort it. The forks are 20mm bolt through, steerer is cut to 180mm . Steerer is 1" 1/8th. I.S. mount. These are a solid reliable fork and will do someone for a winter hack bike or first bike. I am looking around £110. The item is in Belfast. Buyer pays postage. Thanks for looking.
