Specialized Rockhopper - - Large 19" - Custom build

$450 GBP
Specialized Rockhopper - 2006 I am selling my Rockhopper that I bought new in late 2006. Over the years I have upgraded everything on this bike, only the frame and front mech remain! The drivetrain was upgrade to the new XT line that came out in 2008, it hasn't had a lot of use since then and this can be seen from the photo's. The Fork was upgraded in 2007 to the Magura Ronin, this was a major improvement over the stock Manitou unit and offers great adjustability (shock pump is included). On top of these upgrades the wheelset, brakes and bar/stem/seatpost are also upgrades over standard. I have detailed the current spec of this bike below, please get in contact if you have any queries. Sadly, Rockhoppers do not have the spec they used to, this bike represents a solid build and is in great condition. It is a solid ride built around a great frame (in the best colour!). I'll be sad to see this bike go, but in all honesty it is a little small for me (I'm 6ft6) and having recently badly broken my foot I will not be able to ride for around a year - for this reason I am selling my bike and will look to buy something similar, but larger in the future. This bike has been well looked after and is in good condition, the frame has some paint chips, these are cosmetic and can be seen in photos, particularly around the crankset. Please get in contact regarding any specifics and feel free to make me an offer on the bike. I would prefer cash on collection, it would be possible to organise a courier at the buyers expense. I would be able to deliver in the Nottingham area, agin this would be at the buyers expense. Specification: Frame: 2006 Specialized Rockhopper - A1 Aluminium - Large 19inch Fork: 2006 Magura Ronin - 110mm air sprung - External high and low speed compression, rebound and lockout. Wheelset: Custom Mavic XM719 Disc on XT hubs, laced with DT spokes - built by Chain Reaction in 2008 Brakes: Avid Juicy 5 front (180mm rotor) - Hayes Nine rear (160mm rotor) Chainset: Shimano XT M770 Rear Mech: XT Shadow, Long cage M772 Cassette: XT M770 (9 Speed) Chain: Shimano 9 speed Front Mech: Shimano Deore Shifters: Shimano LX (indicators damaged) Bar and Stem: Easton EA50 riser with EA50 110mm stem (Standard clamp size) Seatpost: Thomson 410mm Layback (30.9mm) Saddle: Bontrager Big Earl Seatpost Clamp: Salsa Pedals: DMR V8 flat pedals Tyres: Continental Vertical 2.3 PROtection- wide and fast rolling Others: XT quick release, lock on grips, Magura shock pump included.

Saracen Myst Pro (Large)

$1200 GBP
I am selling my newly purchased Saracen Myst Pro (Large, 2012 model). I have recently broken my foot badly, and having been told extreme sports are to be avoided for over a year I plan on selling my bikes and buying something new in the future. The bike is in great condition and only shows a few cosmetic signs of use, it has been ridden on around 8-10 occasions and has been carefully cleaned and maintained after each use. The Myst really is a fantastic ride, it feels solid and is confidence inspiring, at this price point there really is little competition for a DH bike. The build is as standard, it represents sensible and durable parts that are more than up to the task of Downhill / Freeride use. This bike is a 'large' frame, suitable for riders from around 5'10" and upwards. I am 6'6" and weigh around 82kg, it is not too short for me and would most definitely take a much heavier rider. In terms of signs of use there are some cosmetic points. Please do not be put off by these, I am being honest and describing everything, if you were to view the bike in person you would appreciate that it has been looked after and remains in great condition. Frame: slight rub on top tube from shorts whilst riding (barely visible). Head tube is protected by bike tape and has been since new. Driveside chainstays protected by inner tube from new, visible in photos. Crankset: black finish worn from rubbing shoes, visible in photos. Brakes: there are a few small chips to the white paint on the levers and rear calliper (see photos) Rims: some small cosmetic paint chips, but no dents (please see photo) Also included in this sale -Regular fork spring (70-80kg rider) - 2 spare pairs of brake pads (rrp £15 a pair) This bike is in good condition, and it rides great. Please get in contact if you are interested, happy to discuss over private messages or over the phone. I am based near Nottingham, I would welcome a viewing at a weekend. I would prefer the buyer to collect the bike, paying cash on collection - of course I am open to suggestions of alternative means of transacting. Thanks Specification (from Saracen) with my comments in brackets.
