Devinci Announces 'The Movement' 2025 and the Return of Its Community Grant Program
@cyclesdevinci: I get it—it’s a cool initiative. As a volunteer who has written and secured several of these grants, I just don’t see the ROI. Here’s a question for the marketing folks: Is the “support more communities with small grants” strategy actually working? It’s been the approach for over 20 years, yet from my perspective, all I see are local bike shops closing, fewer new riders, and those who are new buying bikes from Amazon. Spread the stoke, sure—but go BIG! Shimano is getting it right, and I say that as a SRAM person. Cheers!

Devinci Announces 'The Movement' 2025 and the Return of Its Community Grant Program
Met too. But $5k, really!? They are wasting the time, of what tends to be, volunteers. I wish these companies would go big on a handful projects vs. these tiny little grant initiatives.
