2020 Commencal META POWER 29 TEAM Edition. Meticulously-maintained at Commencal Canada in Squamish by head mechanic Aitor. Condition is better than "Good". It has been well-used - but well-maintained. A couple of scratches. It has been "Ride Wrapped" - the bike looks as good as it rides! The META POWER 29 is pure performance. Solid on technical climbs and a a beast on the downhill. It features a high-end build spec, thoughtful design features, capable suspension and the rock-solid Shimano E8000 drivetrain with an integrated battery that can be swapped out with the turn of an Allen key. SRAM XO Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, SRAM Code RSC four-piston caliper brakes with 200mm rotors front and rear. Braking performance is outstanding with the DT Swiss wheelset. The weight of the Meta 29, when it comes to pointing straight downhill, swallows up trail amazingly well. With 160mm of rear travel with the RockShox Superdeluxe Ultimate and 170mm up front with the RockShox Lyrik Ultimate RC2, it's an awesome suspension package and is an absolute bruiser on the descents with a 65-degree headtube angle. It has 181 hours and 40 minutes on it, and has travelled 1257 miles. I still haven't peeled off the plastic cover on the display unit... RANGE in ECO mode displays at 54 MILES Great $10K bike for less than $4K and by far the best deal in this class on pinkbike!

Purchased in July 2020. My Hightower is in a stable of 3 bikes, and sadly, it never got much attention. I started riding my GG Gnarvana and Commencal Meta Power 29 mostly. This bike has been ride-wrapped and lightly-used. It is in outstanding condition. It is a steal at under $5K. RockShox Super Deluxe Select+, 210mm x 52.5mm shock, FOX FLOAT 36 Performance Elite fork. BONUS! Comes with some brand new 'ONE-UP Components' goodies (black composite pedals, for in-steer-tube EDC Lite stem tool, black grips). A similarly-kitted-out Hightower with the SC Reserve wheels DT Swiss 350 hubs, MAXXIS Minion DHR EXO front & EXO+ rear (+Cushcore in the rear wheel) at an XT - level (cranks, brakes - 180mm rotors, shifters, derailleur...) will set you back more than $11K with taxes in.
