'Stop Trapping our Trails' Campaign Launched to Combat Trail Sabotage
Fell foul of this last week, someone having fixed a fallen tree in place across the entirety of a trail (neither walking path nor bridleway) which was actually on the landing of a jump, at a height which I could only see when it was too late.. luckily came away with only bruising and grazing but could've easily led to an OTB or more severe crash.
I cannot begin to comprehend the mind of someone who thinks that is an acceptable action, let alone reports of wire and nails..
They wouldn't be considered acceptable or humane to use as animal traps never mind for the sake of stopping cyclists, I'd very much like to see those responsible punished proportionately for the intent of their actions.
