Review: Kali's Maya 2.0 Helmet is Even Better Than The Original
@Phillyenduro: Breakaway camera mount is also included in the lower priced Lunati at $80 The mount placement on the Maya visor was off so it got removed. It’s too far forward. Those older visors are available here https://shop-usa.kaliprotectives.com/collections/parts/products/maya-visor-with-camera-mount The mounts sold separately can be found here https://shop-usa.kaliprotectives.com/collections/parts/products/camera-light-mount-accessory-kit

I don’t think people wear helmets tight enough for mips to really work.

Video: Syndicate Pit Gibberish - Why Would You Run a Smaller Rear Rotor?
Brakes only slow you down. Smaller real rotor looks cooler and less likely the be bashed on stuff.

Check Out: 8 Mountain Bike Helmets Under $100
@racerfacer: FOAM DENSITY....YES! nobody ever talks about FOAM DENSITY. All these helmets pass the same HIGH-G impact we all know that. I want a helmet to start to crush INSTANTLY!!!! The first 15 milliseconds is the most important part of impact absorption. Any of these soft get materials like kali's LDL is going to dissipate energy WAY faster then anything hard. Then you break into multiple density foam.

Video: Kirill Benderoni Posts Footage of the Crash that Left Him in a Coma
@sino428: Yes you need to dissipate the energy in the space allowed. That's what stuff like ConeHead is doing its mitigating energy in the thickness allowed. You are correct when you say nothing is concussion proof. I feel horrible this guy got hurt I would love to see the helmet. Jordie Lunn took a similar crash at dark fest last year and walked away. Helmet was destroyed.
