Throwback Thursday: Opinion - The Argument For Short-Travel Bikes
I started out riding my local bike park (7 Springs) on a Hardtail, because that was all I could afford. I have absolutely no regrets, because this FORCED me to learn to pick lines smart, manipulate my body in a smart way to act as the missing rear suspension, and build confidence in my handling on a bike. When I finally stepped up to a cheap all mountain bike, I was able to take full advantage of the full squish having built my skills on a hardtail. Great points here, just wanted to add my $.02 as well!
