Review: The 2026 Trek Fuel EX Is Probably All the Bike You Need
I'd long resisted going the 29er route until I picked up a "Used" Fuel Ex Gen 6 9.8 XT in 2024, from Trek's Red Barn. Couldn't be happier. Its the bike I didn't know I needed!!!!!

Pinkbike Poll: Do Your Hands or Arms Hurt When You Ride?
I've tried everything, different grips, different thickness on the grips, flats bars to 50mm high rise bars, carbon and alloy bars, bars with more back sweep, etc. The high rise bars helped the most. Put me in a more upright position, taking pressure off my neck, shoulders and hands. Currently using the Spank Vibrocore bars with a 50mm rise, 8 degree backsweep, SQ 711 grips, 35mm bar and 40mm stem. Considering trying a bar with 12 degree backsweep and a 50mm stem, just to see how that feels. Hands still get tired, but don't hurt like they used too, but then I'm old, so maybe its just age, wear and tear!!!

I love it. She's my hero. She inspires. I'm 73+ and still riding. On a rode trip right now going through St. George Utah, Cliffrose UT, Three Peaks, on to Brian Head and Eacalante. From there, who knows. Happy trials everyone and get out an ride!!!!

Love, love, love it. 73 myself and still out shredding and building trails. Mountain biking has taken me to places I never thought I'd go. Meet great people, see beautiful places and you get to ride bikes. Oh yea, there's usually good food and beer involved. Doesn't get much better than that!!!!

Pinkbike Poll: What MTB Upgrades Do You Regret Spending Money On?
Kasima anything. I've had it on forks, shocks and droppers. I get that there can be performance differences between forks, shocks and droppers, but I can't attribute any difference to the finish. Not worth the extra $$$. Electronic shifting, dropper, etc. More stuff to go wrong, and it does, more weight and more $$$$$. Keep it simple
