Review: TRP's New DH-R EVO Brakes
I don't think I like industrial design taking over brake caliper looks. It doesn't happen in any other type of racing, or motorsports because of obvious reasons.

@RockShox: Thank you for taking the time to do this! Awesome! Been on RS forks since 08!

@RockShox: I thought that would the answer. But that is actually driven into the decision tree, meaning you decide to use magnesium which rules out this possibility, but what if the other possibility was more valuable for riders? In other words, what do you think customers value more, the low weight of magnesium lowers or alu lowers with sliding bushings and better loaded performance? I'm guessing the lower weight would turn out arm-chair purchasers, but 6 months of reviews would definitely turn the table if the performance gain is so much better.

Stiction seems to spike up when bending hard in all my RS forks. Why bushings only on the lowers and so close to each other? wouldn't it make sense to have a "moving" bushing at the end of the stanchion like moto forks?

How much would costs be driven down (%) if there weren't as many variations of the same model of fork/shock. Let's assume for example, full DH, everything but DH and XC (enduro, all mountain, trail), and then XC. Or maybe even just 2 sizes and that's it. Shouldn't the industry move this way?
