@billmadesky: Had a chat about this earlier today. Easier to maintain a Zone 2 level intensity on more variety of trails for longer duration (battery life dependent really). Using the motor appropriately you can stay in Zone 2 throughout most climbs and trail rides, rather than the high heart rate output of traditional pedaling, or peaks and valleys of required effort to maintain climbing pace. Used as as training tool an ebike would mean more on trail zone 2 consistency that is normally only achievable on a spin bike or consistent road grade. Benefits of Zone 2 are high for endurance, heart health, higher fat burning and quicker recovery compared to activities in other zones. Tricky part is staying in that zone for regular rides on no0motor frames on on trail rides. It was an interesting perspective I hadn't thought on. Key is managing the motor output and heartrate to stay in that zone... not punch the throttle to get more more laps

Pre-expedition there is to be a competition posted to guess the distance travelled. Intern has to get as far as possible. Return trip has to be self powered as batteries will be exhausted, and likely this is a scenario that some Levo owner will get to experience out in the backcountry when they push their available loaded distance.
