Anyone? ... still looking to trade. Please help a fellow rider out. You know what it is. Absolutely LOVE the Bear but must part ways ... looking for Kona Jake the Snake (+/-$ all works out in the wash) . Paid ~2,300$ taxes in. Looking at same value trade for a Jake (The Snake) ... text/call (email if necessary) me. You should know what I'm talking about. :) My edit: 2002 Kona Bear (Green/Black/White)... Size 19in (48.26cm - 56cm??? i dunno :/) Kona Jacksh*t pedals (despite scrapes on ends, spikes still awesome (unless wacked on shin bones ;) ) Rebuilt from frame up 1.5 years ago. New cables and guides. New rubber. Well back has ~10KM on it at most and front has 0KM (as of right now ;) ) Special B.C. edition that has coil on rear shock. Rides better than new. I test rode ~40 similar bikes before finding the PERFECT ride ... the BEAR. Despite some MINOR scuffs here and there, this BEAR is in amazing condition. Wish I didn't have to trade but have no $ and need a lighter (live in a walk-up) and more prone riding position -- due to a back injury Looking for a Jake or Jake the Snake of similar value. Must be: - lighter than the bear - carbon front forks - disc brakes would be a major plus - Don't need your fancy lock-on pedals ...
